NEVER DID ME ANY HARM......CHANNEL 4 9.00PM TUESDAY

THIS IS QUITE APPROPRIATE VIEWING FOR 'THOSE WERE THE DAYS' HONOURABLE MEMBERS OF THIS THREAD

Also followed by 'ShameLess' just for a bit of contrast.

Being the youngest of 4 'hand me downs' are an engraved memory, only having 2 older brothers meant me wearing the classic trousers with the big square pockets halfway down the outside of the trouser leg and a flowered shirt to boot.

But I shall never forget going hedge hopping, crab appleing, newting, postmans knock and hours spent playing kerby and bouncing around on my faithfull spacehopper.

How time flies.

There were fields opposite my house on the Woodchurch Est and we used to go camping almost every weekend (in a small wood next to Upton station for those familiar with the area

) . I remember waking up one morning to find the ground outside the tent covered in 2" of snow . Did any parents come to see if their 10 year old kids were alright or frozen to death ? Did they f'uck , proper weather ,proper kids , proper parents .
