The best tv show in the history of the earth - You know i'm right.

Due South is the best TV show ever made, and it's a f*cking crime that they stopped writing it after only 4 seasons.

Paul Gross has to be one of the most under-rated actors in show business, and the character of Benton Fraser was brilliant.

Anyone who thinks it's shallow (as I've heard dullards utter such cr*p before), patently do not know what they are talking about.

I emplore every single person on these boards to purchase the box sets, and enjoy the best televisual feast you will ever taste.

Look beyond what has come to be regarded as a cliched format - this f*cking masterpiece was the perfect balance of comedy and drama, with an undercurrent of strong moral fibre.

Watch it before you judge it. And if you don't like it, you must be shunned. :D

Seriously though - it p*sses all over everything else IMHO.

It was ok, but best tv prog ever? Nah.
I lost interest when they changed the lead charactor, then brought him back. The dog/wolf was under-used as well.

Paul Gross featured in every episode mate.

David Marciano missed all but 2 episodes of the final season due to prior commitments, but he was always a secondary exponent. He has since admitted that he would have loved to have closed the show out as Vecchio, but "It wasn't my destiny".

I have to admit that Callum Keith Rennie, despite being English, was never a patch on Marciano, but, nevertheless, was a good counter to the ultra-upstanding Gross.

I personally believe the show just went over the heads of the majority of the British public, as it was always shown at the wrong times to really get the exposure it required.

It's the kind of show that makes you want to be a better person.

im actually in total agreement with lando there. (well, up to a point, 24 is better) but i really cannot find fault with due south.

Its bizarre, its surreal, it lost a teeny bit when devechio was replaced (ok, teeny fault) but i love it, watch it on itv3(or 4?) all the time.

Brilliantly written, acted and filmed, great show

I love my tv shows, particularly Lost and 24, but the Sopranos is different class.

I've just finished season 4 on box set and all I have to say is "wow".

The writing and characterisation is beyond reproach.   :bowdown
