saw a film on dvd called london last night. chris evans (the actor not the ginger) and jason stratham head the cast... all set in a bathroom during a party...surprisingly good minimalist film

Haha Brick is my favourite! I thought the moment was inspirational when his comrades congratulated him on tossing the trident!!  :D

Watched Bloodiamond . Leo di Caprio puts in a decent performance . Sierra Leone is portrayed as the sh'ithole it is, a big festering slum run by vicious psychotic warlords and lots of kids running around armed with AK '47s

Great Movie   :D

NOT

It was entertaining enough Bamaga but also it was riddled with cliche's . ie. Diamonds+African warlords .White mercenary+White female journalist . Innocent Africans+Refugee camps . Noble local+he's a fisherman :D  .

Wouldn't blast the movie but I think some of the praise it has received has been a bit OTT .

Watched both Gremlins movies the other week when I was dyin' with the worst cold I've had in ages. Those evil Gremlins are feckin' awesome. It's been years since I last saw the movies and that bit in the first one when they re-wire the old ladies stair lift had me pissin meself :D .

I've also been watchin a few others that I've picked up cheap in the sales or rented from LOVEFilm:

JUMPIN' JACK FLASH - WHOOPI GOLDBERG ****
THE BIG WHITE - Robin Williams ***
ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 (New Version) ***
ENVY - Ben Stiller/Jack Black ** (pile of shit really  :D  - if you've seen it you'll get the pun!)
TRANSPORTER 2 - Jason Statham **

I'm currently re-watching 24 Season1 and I'm hooked on it again even though I've seen it already; it's like heroin for the TV viewer .  :D
