Heading to Hurghada in Egypt on Friday, never been there before and none of my mates/family have been there either.  Just wondering if anyone here's been is there anything they recommend seeing/avoiding or any other general tips for the place?  Most importantly how easy will it be to see the world cup games out there?

Cheers

I can vouch for the camera trick, I had to punch the fella at least four times in the nose before he eventually dropped the camera.

Cheers Judge!

Come to think of it though, a joker like yourself could be getting me to say absolutely anything with those phrases :glare:

Are the taxi men rip-off merchants?

I've also heard something about needing to queue for a visa when you arrive at the airport over there?

you will need pound sterling for the visa, the folding type, they dont take coins. i thinks its 20 or 30 quid per person.

with the taxi men, agree the price first before you go, and make sure you know its for there and back ----total fare. if they ok then fine, but if they say we just go, then refuse to get in, and move to the next taxi man

Yeah

If he tries to charge you anymore than £20 for having sex with his camel them he's ripping you off.
Agree the price first coz you don't want to be on your vinegar stroke and have to start haggling, if he tries to rip you off, you should move along to the next camel.  :D
