Liverpool fc - general discussion - What the hell is going on?

I just checked in on the Liverpool FC - General Discussion
part of the forum and all I could find is stupid threads that have descending into personal abuse and topics that have nothing to do with LFC and football, and 
wind up merchants.
What the is going on? Where are all the mods? It’s hard to find much Liverpool and Football related discussion.
It’s the one part of the forum that must be kept in order, otherwise this whole site is pointless.

No thanks, I would be a bit too aggressive to be a mod, would be locking threads and handing out bans too much, don’t think Chris likes that sort of thing, wouldn’t really want to do the job.
I just want the main section to be kept in order.

It's not so bad. Admitadly there are a lot of handbags, but these things go in cycles. If we beat Fulham everyone will be a bucket of rainbows again and if the mods ticked off everyone who got a bit heated, there would only be about ten people using the site. I guess it goes in cycles.

Its been worse.........i thought last summer after we won the CL and the impending transfer window opening was .Every idiot in the world coming on here and causing rows.Some even had abusive names like chelseaforever...

I dont think the forums in a bad state at all, there are some really good posters on here that speak loads of sense and put there opinions over in a good manner, there are some crazy characters on here that abuse other fans (nothing wrong with that imo)
And there are some decent threads.
I havent noticed any real kick offs lately where threads have become stupidly abusive.
Even the corrie characters are making me laugh, especially Hillman putting Gail in the fit birds thread, genius
