Fave N64 game?

Zelda: Ocarina of Time.  That's why I bought it, for that game alone.  It was the best game around at the time.  I got a Super Nintendo when I was twelve, purely because I NEEDED Street Fighter 2 to make my life complete.

Apparently the latest Resident Evil (Res Evil 4?) on the Gamecube is excellent.

To run Doom 3 well on a PC you need a very hefty PC. In fact, to run Doom 3 on optimium levels you need a 512MB graphics card and there are no such graphics cards on the market yet!

Doom 3 should run ok on a mid range PC (by that I mean something with a 2.4ghz processor, 512MB ram and a 64 or 128MB Direct X 9 graphics card). I suspect your problem, Dawson, is that either:

1. You are attempting to run the game at too high a resolution and too many details: go into video settings in the game options and drop the details to medium or even low and also drop the resolution to something like 800x600.

2. You have Anti aliasing and antroscoptric filtering on which should be disabled in your graphics card settings.

3. You do not have up to date graphics card drivers.

4. You have an absolutely terrible graphics card (likely the case unfortunately).

I can run Doom at fast speeds with decent graphics and I have seen it run on state of the art machines, and its absolutely fantastic.

Have long since moved on from N64 to PS" and now X-Box but N64 had some all-time classics.

Goldeneye was (and still is awesome) - Used to play it with 4 players, 2 TVs, a splitter devive thingymigig + covered half of each TV screen so we could play 2 on 2 without being able to see where the other two players were. How sad is that!? I did smoke a lot of pot in those mind :D

Other classics were - MarioKart, Perfect Dark (the sequel to Goldeneye) and F-Zero.
