ok if you use vlc player then here we go.
first ofF site for subtitles go here follow me please
there are more out there if you search.
once you have the file put it in the folder that has the movie, just makes the whole process a little quicker if you do.
start vlc player, click on file top left, from the drop down box select open file.
the box below will open, follow intructions and you`ll be fine.
you can use the advanced settings to adjust the position of the text and also adjust size.
hope this helps
or do what saint said

I am using Yahoo as my home page at the moment, I was using Google but every time I searched for something it would re-direct me to some weird page, medical advice or some other type of search engine ?

Nero will join the film for you Toffeehater, but it will take a while to do it ....... about 1 hour.
Converting to avi's I havent had much experience of for years....... usually I am converting the other way ..... to dvd. If you just want dvd's to fit on a CD Nero will do that too mate.

Thanks saint , the converting part is not really an issue , nero joins all types of file rights? Avi , WMV ?
