So far it's been a pretty thin time this year for quality "asian" movies

Saw this Korean/New Zealand production (?) the other night.

It's not gonna win any awards but if you're stuck for something to watch and you like manga/cgi action this could fill your bucket.

Anyone seen 'Chocolate'? It's a Thai film about this girl who I think has some mental disorder, but she knows how to kick :censored:

. She watches movies and then can imitate the moves ect...

It's a bit out there but has some of the best fight scenes i've seen in a while.

Yeah mate, watched it a while back, Autistic girl watches kung fu movies and becomes more awsome than Dawson.

Good movie, don't know if you ever saw any of the out takes , the action was so full on, more than a dozen actors were taken to hospital.

No cgi in this one

Mate the whole movie is mental and when you look at this scene you wonder why even more people didn't end up on a stretcher.

Took me a while to get into it. TBH when I watched it, I was with this girl round hers and trying to get in her pants so said ok yeah lets watch a movie. By the end of it I had given up trying it on and was well into the movie. :laugh:

Finally got around to watching this ,and it was well worth the wait ..top film with Min Sik Choi at his malevolent best ...

Picked up a movie called "Aftershock" in the hmv sale,

It's a spectacular disaster movie about the 1976 earthquake in Tangshan, China which killed over a quarter of a million people.

Also got my mitts on "Merantau Warrior" for £6, if anyone like Ong Bak or Chocolate they should enjoy this martial arts offering from Indonesia

2 films. 13 assassins, dubbed as the best samurai film of all time.

And Enter the Void, which I watched today. It's actually in English, well mostly... But it's set in Tokyo. Anyway it's about a drug dealer who's spirit watches over his stripper sister after he dies. Lots of drugs, lots of drugs and lots of general seediness. It's a bit grim but very well made. Watch it! In fact go watch it now. :laugh:
