Also, for those americans and canadians that come to my country to Pamplona and the San Fermines because it's fun to run on front of a bull.

It's dangerous for obvious reasons.  If you play with nature, you might have your guts cut. :D

I think Steve O or someone was messing around with a bunch of them on a Wildboyz/Jackass episode once.

Anyway, respect nature.:)

Aye, the Galapicos or however it's spelled.

that'll be the galapagos. famous for darwin and big tortoises but not so famous for komodo dragons. funnily enough, they are commonly found on the islands of komodo in indonesia.

Brilliant! I am no naturalist but am aghast at the ignorance of some of my fellow fans. Proper funny.

bull fighting = inhumane and sick, same as badger baiting and fox hunting

I don't like it neither, although I'd say there are two differences, one, if bullfighting didn't exist, the brave bull as we know it would have been extinguished centuries ago (how many brave bulls are in Holland or Germany for instance?). The other difference is that in bullfighting the bullfighter can end up with a deadly injury. But yes, I don't like it neither.

My point was that any bull fighter at least knows the animal he has on front of him can be deadly.

Where as many citizens that put themselves on front of a brave bull don't seem to be that careful. And I relate that notion to your thread, because a lot of lifes could be saved mate if people were a bit more cautious when they go to the mountain with the proper precautions or they respect the animals.

Komodos have a lethal bacteria in their mouths, that is there weapon of survival. They will bite a pig wont necesserily run after it. Knowing the pig will die within a few hours and stroll up to it and start feasting. Pretty amazing really!

Also I red somewhere a while ago about Crocodiles blood, it is their blood mainly that has stopped these age old reptiles from dieing out. There blood is immune to many infectious diseases, they can heal wounds in the dirtiest of swamps and rivers. There is even research I believe looking in to there blood set-up in the hope of a cure for Cancer, same with turtles.

bad news  :(

apparantly they carry millions of deadly bacteria in their mouths, so even if you survive the attack you are more likely to die from infection such as septicaemia

thats what i said bam in my thread opener about the bacteria

Good on the Komodos is all I can say, the bacteria in their mouths is their weapon for prey, if people go inot their inviroments well what do they expect?

Same with anyone who gets bitten by a shark dont go in the sea simple as that.

I love animals and they should all be respected apart from flies and rats. Even tho flies are insects :D

Small childs shouldn't be left alone playing in the jungle if you want to be a responsible parent.

I agree though it's very sad.
