Just seen it on the news, I knew she was critically ill but was hoping she would pull through. I remember her fondly in of the films I loved as a kid , the Parent Trap. Such a shame, my heart goes out to her family.

When I heard she was critical after ski accident, I thought she had gone head first into tree ala Sonny Bono.
Tragic for her family anyway you look at it, but the fact she basically fell over and died from something so mundane would for me be harder to accept

Very sad news indeed , my mate lost his wife after she just knocked her leg against a barrier and it formed a clot , tragic and feel lots of sympathy for her family .

Nothing is guarnteed when you fall and you hit the ground and feel ok. I've been reading more about these type of deaths, you feel fine but then after 2 or 3 hours you get painful headaches that are life threatning.
Interesting
That what happened to her, and I've watched a documentary on discover a few months ago with also another girl who had a ski accident, she had the samething, luckily she lived but they removed 50% of her brain because of the swell.
Serious stuff.
Anyways, RIP, loved Parent Trap as a kid, she was brilliant in it.

RIP she was of no age to die, just make you think of your own loved ones and how fragile the body really is!!

Was she wearing protective clothing when she had the accident?

Everytimes I here a story like this i feel very lucky. Last year I fell of a ladder and banged my head, I cant rememember much about it and was rushed to hospital, thankfully everything turned out okay.
