yeah 2 'cottages' they said. two terraced flats about 15 doors down 'blew up' loudest fecking noise i have EVER heard, knocked me off my sofa! was supposed to go with the rest of the street down to the local royal legion to sing war songs or something but i just went to a hotel... hopefully be allwoed back to look to see if any damage later this afternoon.

Man dies in suspected gas blast

Firefighters are still at the scene of a gas explosion which has left one man dead in north-west London.

A second man and a teenage girl, pulled from rubble, were also hurt in the blast in Stanley Road, South Harrow.

Fire crews are using specialist listening equipment to see if anyone else is trapped following the explosion on Wednesday night.

About 30 people were placed in temporary accommodation after the blast - the cause of which is still unknown.

grabbed my credit card and booked a cab was the first thing i did so i cojuld get a decent hotel lol...

I've been a Jam and Paul Weller fan since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Granted one or two of the solo albums were a bit dodge, and a lot of the Style Council stuff was absolute cack, but by and large all of his stuff is top drawer....

The album Stanley Road was just the dog's wobbly bits.... :buttrock

Explosion in london - Guess who lives on the road
