The obsession the BBC have with this man is curious.

He's a proven liar, and is also a bigot, racist, sexist and homophobe.

For those of you who didn't see it last night, Kelvin once again proved himself to be a twat of the highest order. I've submitted the following as an official complaint to the BBC:

I am extremely disappointed that the BBC went ahead with allowing Kelvin MacKenzie to appear on this programme. This is a man who gained noteriety from the lies he told in his newspaper about the Hillsborough tragedy. The fact that the BBC uses licence payer money to repeatedly feature him on programmes is bad enough but to associate him with a sporting event is downright insulting.

He offered nothing beneficial to the programme and was only featured making insulting and offensive comments to other members of the team. His behaviour harldy justified his presence in the programme.

I would advise that the BBC choose its "celebrity" guests with more care in future. The idea of sport relief is to raise money, however the appearance of this man has dissuaded many from making donations.

It is a popular rumour that this man is only used by the BBC because he has personal links with members of the BBC in powerful positions. If so, it is highly inappropriate for a publicly funded institution to conduct itself in this manner.

Mate seriously half of those lot dont have a clue what they are doing half the time. Another example of poor seldection is Linford Christie being chosen to hold the Olympic torch through London.

Excuse my ignorance, but what has Linford done wrong?

Drug ban
Christie tested positive for the stimulant pseudoephedrine at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, but was cleared after the International Olympic Committee voted by a margin of 11 to 10 the substance could have come from the permitted substance ginseng.[11] It was later reported that two of the judges were asleep when the vote was taken.[12] Reference to this is made in a television advert Christie made for Egg online banking in Autumn 1998.

In a separate matter in 1999, Christie was found guilty of using the performance enhancing drug Nandrolone following a routine doping test after an indoor meet in Germany. By this time, Christie was in semi-retirement.

He was found to have metabolites of nandrolone in his urine, which may have been accidentally introduced to his system by taking legal nutritional supplements.[13][14][15]

The IAAF rejected that explanation, and gave Christie a two-year ban from athletics, despite UK Athletics feeling that there was 'reasonable doubt whether the drug had been taken deliberately.'[16] The ban did not extend to coaching activities.

Christie has always denied any wrongdoing. "If I took drugs there had to be a reason to take drugs. I had pretty much retired from the sport."

Following the ban, the British Olympic Association announced that Christie would not be accredited for any future Olympic Games, in accordance with their regulations. However, despite being unable to go trackside at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, the BOA allowed Christie, coach to several competing athletes, to attend the British training camp in Australia.

Was going to start a topic on Sports Relief but thought nah sod it ! It will only turn into a rant about each and every year we do several charity schemes, raising millions and there still in the same shi.t as since the year dot. So has anyone actually donated or done something for this charity? or are you like me just got some beer in instead?
