1: Definitely Maybe - Oasis
2: Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles
3: Revolver - The Beatles
4: OK Computer - Radiohead
5: (What's the Story) Morning Glory? - Oasis
6: Nevermind - Nirvana
7: The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
8: Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd
9: The Queen Is Dead - The Smiths
10: The Bends - Radiohead

According to 40,000 nme fans, this is the list. cant complain about the top 3 myself. personally cant stand radiohead but can see why he was picked. and ive never got the pink floyd sound. just doesnt do it for me.

Morning glory tho? Come on, its just a poor studio version of definately maybe. surprised stone roses werent higher either.

Thoughts anyone? Who would you add? Personally id put in astral weeks, maybe something by the doors.

ps - the strokes this is it came in at 20...20 ??? possibly the best rock n roll album in recent years,m since the debut by oasis in fact, and it gets 20 ???

I rate The Bends over OK Computer

The Bends is better than OK computer, High an Dry is an absoloute belter of a song and could make even the shittest album excellent...

And how Everything must go by the Manics and Urban Hyms aren't in there I'll never know. For me along with the two Oasis ones and Nevermind are unbelievable albums.

I'm into R.E.M. aswell but they don't have alot of quality albums, its mainly 5 or 6 songs on an every album.

Well the fact that it was a vote from "40'000 NME fans should have alerted you to the fact it would complete sh'ite .

No mention of

After Bathing at Baxters (Jefferson Airplane)
Exile on Main Street (Rolling Stones)
Too Late to Stop Now (Van Morrison)
Blue (Joni Mitchell)
We're only in it for the Money (Mothers of Invention)
Electric Ladyland (Jimi Hendrix)
Blonde on Blonde  (Bob Dylan)
Abraxas (Santana)
Gaucho (Steely Dan)
II (Led Zeppelin)

I stack that lot up against NME's choices anyday .

blonde on blonde would make my list.
