I need to buy a young, good striker for less than 5m.

I've already bought Kompany.

Anyone got a particular player they bought and turned out to be a massive success for them?

Or any other young players that turn out good?

Cant remember off hand but I will fire up the Laptop and get back to u on that 1........have u tried using the program FM Scout?? U can specify what attributes u want the prog to search for and it is really in depth........but will let u know what good players to get once ive had a look on the laptop

LOL not really cheating, u would find these players anyway as long as u have a large database of players........just saves u like hours upon hours of searching (call it using ur initiative) LOL...1st year I have ever used such a programme

I can give u players that turn out good, they may be hard to get permit wise but worth a try

erm under 5mil maybe huntelaar (sp) think i got him for about that once and he was alright like, yer can get a korean player called park joo-young whos not too bad at 1.5mil, cesar delgado but he always plays sh'it for me, theres quite a few in south america so just have a peak at the clubs like river and that.

For under 5 mil, id go for park joo young

He turns out great, and in some games is a wonderkid, other times he'll just become a cultured striker by the time hes 22

Try Elliot Benyon of Bristol C or Rovers I think, around the 2 million mark, good finisher :;):

Both top players and are very, very cheap. They usually get their work permits although sometimes you can be unlucky.

Why does the editor want to open as a .xml file?

Anyone know why?

it says it's target is "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\editor data\screens\editor.xml"
