Ufc - Does anyone watch it?

Just recently I've been watching a thing called The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and have become completely hooked on it.  Its almost a no-rule boxing wrestling muay tai kickboxing martial arts type of fighting and its sometimes scarey as f.uck.

I know it ain't football (maybe we should have another section for "other sports").  Just wondering if anybody's been watching it?

where are you watching it? is it online or on Sky?

I've seen some in the past and it was pretty cool.

Its on sky Tommy - the Player channel and sometimes Bravo I think virtually every night.  Not checked whether you can get it onlline.

There's even an "Ultimate Fighter" series similar to the "Contender" (a boxing school series - Sly Stallone hosted it).

I think boxing and wrestling will be taking a backseat from now on - the UFC is awesome

I'm a big fan of the UFC, have been watching it for years.  Bravo shows a lot of it at the moment and you can download most past fights on something like Kazaa or Torrent.

I like boxing too and getting into UFC kind of stemmed from that.  I actually think it's better to watch now than boxing and there are some amazing fighters around at the moment especially in the light heavyweight division.  Try and download some of Randy Couture, Tito Ortiz, Ken Shamrock and Chuck Liddell's fights if you can - those guys have been my favourites over the years.

I watched the Ortiz-Shamrock fight the other night but it was a disappointment to be honest, thought the ref could have let it go a bit longer before the stoppage.

I watched it on Wednesday night, and the "world heavyweight Champion" called rico rodruigez or something got his @rse kicked and jaw broken by a big lanky fuc.ker with a goatee and side burns.

Quality.

Im a big fan too, my favourite fighters are:

Chuck Liddell
Renato Sobral
Tito Ortiz
Forrest Griffin(TUF1 Winner)
and
Matt Hughes

Definately a great sport to watch, and on Weeknights about 10 or 11pm watch Bravo because they have re runs of the UFC reality series The Ultimate Fighter

Underrated fighter.  Hard as nails :nod

I want to see a Liddell-Ortiz re-match.  The one time I've truly seen Ortiz take a hiding was their first one.

I wish Ken Shamrock would hurry up and retire, hes past it and making a embarrassment of himself like no other fighter has before

Totally agree.  He's 43 and his last few outings have been shocking.  How good was he in his prime though?  Awesome - equally good at striking and submission

I cant wait for the Renato Sobral v Chuck Liddell rematch in August, I have a sneaky feeling Babalu might upset Chuck, be a good fight as both havent been beaten for at least a couple of years :buttrock

Didn't actually see their first fight Roberts.  Have to say though, Liddell will be hard for anyone to take down right now, definitely the best striker in his division.  Legend :buttrock
