Rangers play the second leg of their Europa League tie against Maribor tomorrow. They are 3-1 up from the first leg at Ibrox but Maribor are no mugs (especially on their own patch) Rangers will do well to get through.

SG has in some way got a kind of Klopp likeable effect at Rangers. The fans and players absolutely love the guy. We should have given them a few more of our players which we don't really need. :D.

It was 0-0 last night so Rangers go through. Just one more two legged tie to negotiate now and they will have qualified for the Europa League proper. If they do get through that will be 8 qualifying games they've played, seems a lot of work just to get through to the first round, Gerrard will have to rotate like f**k or his team will be out on their feet come the New Year.

Last time they made it into the "proper" was in 2010 so if Gerrard manages to get them there it will already be a positive achievement.

Sickener for Gerrard, they were behind twice against Motherwell but managed to pull it back to 2-2, then Ejariah scored to make it 3-2 only for Rangers to concede with the very last kick of the game. Felt sorry for Stevie he looked gutted at the end. Terrific advert for Scottish footy though.

Yup shame though they were so close to snapping 3 points.

Looking at the Rangers forum, it sounds like Ejaria has started to win fans over in the past 2 games having originally not been impressed. But sounds like the same old story with Ryan Kent, loads of stuff that's easy on the eye but not much in the way of creating chances or scoring goals.

Yeah I'm a member of a boxing forum and there are quite a few lads from Glasgow on there and they haven't been impressed by either Ejariah or Kent, they said they gave the ball away too easily and were ineffectual.
That was a week or so ago though so maybe Ejariah is starting to win them over.

Which forum is that Yakka? I'm a boxing fan well used to be but still keep track sometimes. Wouldn't mind joining a boxing forum.

I didn't even realise they were playing until I saw the result on Sky Sports News, sounds like all sorts went on, down to 9 men and everything. Somehow they are through though.

First real test for Gerrard and his Rangers side today, and they were pretty much played off the park by Celtic. Did well to escape with a 1-0.

Still early days, but these are the results he'll be judged on by the fans.
