Well as bad as yesterday was for us, at least we won our game unlike the rest of the English teams.

Watching the Bayern game and looking at Xabi, I was thinking maybe we should have went for him. He could do what Gerrard does for us now, only better. He has the passing ability but also has the DM awareness, something that Gerrard lacks.

Not going to happen as BR will not sign anyone that is seen as a direct and immediate challenger to SG's position.

Think we are the least depressed fans from the english sides after this round of results

Chelsea drawin 1-1 to maribor Arsenal letting a 3 goal lead slip to draw 3-3 and Citeh losing 2-1 at home and getting two men sent off

Letting a 3 goal lead slip to anderlecht at home and drawing with Maribor is more of a dissapointing result then losing 1-0 to the reigning european champions away

From what i've heard, this may have been touched upon elsewhere on the forum, but can't find anything, anyway, this season, the team that finishes 4th goes into CL, but from next season, the rules change and the team that finishes 4th will not get a place in the CL
