Kenny dalglish - Manager job looms near!

Looks like Kenny could be back in the hot seat pretty soon.

He has been slashed into a short priced favourite to take up the vacant Republic of Ireland manager’s job after a day of incessant rumour and swift bookmaker reaction.

Full review here

He is being mooted as a genuine candidate to become the next permanent Irish manager, with his old First Division adversary, Terry Venables, regarded as his only genuine rival.

So an older & Wiser Kenny could be back in the frame soon. If he doesn't take this one, maybe the vacant Scotland job would suffice.

Anyhow, I'd love to see him back in the game. I really believe he still has the clout to pull it off again.

At 56 years old, I think he's just right to apply his cunning aptitude to the world of football once again.

I think he would be the best of the lot that would take the job with such a poor team. AT a good age for what I believe is a part time job.

Its all just the bookmakers trying to make a few pound.

Never going to happen.

I'd like Big Sam.

Ireland are the Bolton of international football and he did really well there.

He used to manage my home city Limerick Fc back in the day!!

I'd love Kenny to take the Ireland job but i believe a certain Monsieur Houllier is the preferred choice.

Kenny always gets mentioned when the Irish job comes up.  I reckon the F.A.I. are currently playing charades and Venables will be named when the dust settles..
