Probably the best candidate for the job, it's a shame the FA cocked it up the first time.

Capello vs Mclaren?

Chalk and cheese.

Yes I think it's a good option for you.

Was the Carraguer decission bound to McLaren, or was it a decission just related to commitment to the club? what if Capello summons him?

I also have quite an interest of how will Cappelo use Gerrard. Of one thing I'm certain, I don't think we'll see Fat Lampard and Gerrard together!

Good luck to Capello and England.

Is that confirmed now ? the last I heard was he wanted to bring in 4 or 5 back room staff including his own choice of director of football, they were still in discussion trying to find some sort of compromise. I don't really care about England either way but surely it is better to have an Englishman like Brooking  over seeing things than some Italian ? ???

A combination of both, the manager selected some right turkeys ahead of him, and he decided to call it quits and prolong his club career. There was almost no point in him being selected in the squad - it was a waste of time.

I very much doubt he'll come out of international retirement, but you just never know in football. I don't think Capello would summon him.

Contract negotiations need to be concluded, but the board have approved his appointment. I don't think they'd take it this far if they weren't intent on concluding the deal.

A fantastic club manager who knows how to deal with big egos.  I think the FA finally got it right.

Oh right, that latest news I was referring to came from the poor guy on Talksport who has been stood outside the F.A all morning and is now freezing, he made it sound like it could all collapse at the last minute and that was only half an hour ago ? But if its been approved then thats that. Who's been named as his interpreter :D

Good appointment, but I am concerned that he speaks almost no English and at his age will probably find it too much trouble to bother to learn much.
