He's far too many times laying on the ground as I watch tonights game.
Don't know if that's his usual tactics, but I don't like it. It reminds me one manure player.

I would like to tell you that he's going to play for us, but everytime he opens his mouth you can see a future Real Madrid in his words. Too many teams are interested on Alves, and unlike Alonso, Alves isn't one who's gonna be attracted by the glory of football, but by the lure of the temptress of Madrid nights, fashion cars, easy money and no tough work. :(

I hope I'm wrong because as a player, he's fast, and he's very good.

What a comeback from Spurs here 3-4  on Agg now.
Yer Alves is good but he spends most of his time on the floor, and with the yard dogs of the prem he'd more than likely be missing half the season with injury.

The word I'm hearin' on Alves is that Barca have got first refusal on him as part of the loan deal that took Saviola to Sevilla last season. This means that unless somebody is prepared to offer a bucket load of money more than barca are prepared to pay he's gonna be headin' for the Nou Camp.

Erm, did someone watch the Tottenham-Sevilla game?

If so, a couple of questions

How come Lennon is so good and better than Pennant, and he couldn't with Puerta the Youngster in all the first half? He changed wings in the second half!!

Pennant is good enough. Lennon is good, but not the panacea, not much better than Pennant.
