Wales are playing in Ireland in a month or so and I was just wondering what their fans are like.

Their Rugby fans are great.

But Englands Rugby fans are good too but their football ones ripped up our stadium in a riot last time they were here. I know Cardiff and some other football fans cause a lot of trouble too so maybe different type of person comes over for football.

I know England played Wales a couple of times in the last few years so just wondering whether you can have a few drinks with them after the match or whether it will be time to get out the gum shields?

just like any other football fans really. - you get you pleasent fans who just want to have a couple of drinks and watch the game and you get the yobs that love 3 things: football, beer and fighting.

Its hard to stop one set without the other, so invariably you're gonna get both. Cardiff's Soul crew has become pretty infamous over the years, but they're more driven by Cardiff City FC than Wales. Although there is a lot of national pride here country vs country is not as bad as cardiff vs certain clubs.

NO trouble to be honest. Most of the main ones now have bans as Cardiff are feeling the pressure of possibly getting promoted.  Lots of raids and clamping down.  The away fans will be mostly people up for a laugh

How lovely that a local Rhyl town bitter had decided to post it's thoughts.
