I understand why you're saying this, maybe he should retire, this season is definitely his last. I would like to see him go into coaching or something I think he'd be good at it.

BUT the question who will replace him?? because there is no other english keeper performing as well as he is, ok he's making mistakes he's the first to admit that, BUT THERE IS NO-ONE TO REMAIN HIM.

James- when hes good hes very good but still makes too many mistakes only ever started in friendlies he has never started a competitive match for England.

Kirkland- doesnt even play for Liverpool yet

Robinson- great talent no experience, getting regular first-team football with Leeds

Hoult- no international experience

Seaman should quit.He has to be ejaculated as soon as possible. Now would not be premature. He should be replaced by Billy the Fish another excellent swimmer.

I reckon it's time he quit the guy has been the best English keeper for years but all good things come to an end.
and the sooner that ponytail leaves the prem the better.

He should retire from football with grace, but it's to late.

Is James much better? No would be my answer. Kirkland should get the nod ahead of James

Thats what I think but Euro 2004 may be soon for him.

He is good enough already and there are still enough games before Euro 2004 for him to prove it. We all know what James can do, why not try out alternatives. England will almost certainly take three keepers to Portugal, they should give all of them a run out

How many friendlys are there left?

Kirkland will probarly be in the squad for portugal, but I don't reckon he'll play.
