Club football doesn't get any better than that. Probably the best league game in Europe this season. It motivated underperforming Real Galacticos, and it now shows they are up to the task for the rest of the season.

Beckham to me was the man of the match, and Ronaldo showed how dangerous he can be when paired with Owen. What about Ronaldinho's free kick? Purely magic!!!

lots of great players on display there, truly one of the best rivalries in the world.

i`ve been watching the spanish footy for a good while on sky, well since beckham went there and sky started their intensive coverage anyway.
some of the footy is excellent but i do have a couple of gripes about la liga, firstly if anyone is in danger of losing possession they just fall down and usually get the free kick - wether they`ve been fouled or not doesn`t seem important to the ref (it`s infuriating sometimes) , and secondly real madrid and barca do get some ropey penalties and free kicks at home.
but all in all it is great to watch.
the game at the weekend was end to end stuff, with some great build up play and flashes of genius and as st mike rightly pointed out the defending was abysmal - reals keeper keeping them in the game at times and barca`s defence havent a clue what picking up at corners and free kicks is about.
