Yeah, s.hit. :D

On a more serious note, I'll always back England, I was born here and I have some pride in my country. The whole Mexico debate (that went on for ages :D ) was just me expressing my views on a dark horse and my geniune belief they can win the trophy.

I didn't think Mexico looked that good against Iran , 1-1 with 15 minutes to go and it took a mistake to get the second goal.

No team has really impressed me so far but Argentina probably look the best.

Mexico didn't play well, but they did enough to get the result, rather like England did against Paraguay, but Argentina have looked the strongest team so far. But we still have Brazil, Italy, Spain and France to come yet.

I hadn't seen the Czechs play when I posted but I did think they deserved to win Euro 2004. However, Koller might miss the rest of the tournament and Baros (who always does well for them) foot injury is worse than thought. Also, Nedved is two years older now and getting on.

Rosicksy does look good though and they might be worth a few quid in the bookies.

As an Australian, I could be forgiven for hoping that England drop out, but I personally would like to see them win the Cup. (Hopefully against Argentina in the final :D )

Kopite...go and wash your mouth out. I'd rather see New Zealand win the cup (did I just say that??...pass the soap dear, I have something important to do).

I don't particularly care who wins as long as it's not a Sth American team of divers, USA (I hate Arena), Croatia (should move this team to Sth America) or England (only because we'll then hear about it for the next 200 years)

I just want to see some great football in a match that isn't driven by players' egos or poor refereeing decisions. Can someone fix that for me please.    :D

  Are the Aussies any different ?

Since your win against the Japs thats all thats being talked about on all the t.v channels. Feck me, for the last two days I could of been forgiven in thinking there were 30 other countries in the WC. Coz there all talking about that GREAT game. And of course talking themselves up again.

Be sure, 200 years or more and you'll still be talking about the Japan game.
