crouch ???  :no

The best players for england were gerrard & joe cole.

tongue in cheek. red tinted specs and all....

fwiw i think crouch was effective, until owen left. strange one that really though eriksson said it was tactical...

in fairness though, cole, lampard and gerrard did enough.

Still think Ibrahimovic is sheer class even after the Sweden 0-0 T&T game today.  Quality, quality player.

quite a few ivorians are impressing me although they are 2-0 down.
the left back looks very fast and lively.
sokora looks a really good player too.

Kolo Toure's younger brothers having a belter for the Ivory Coast who look to have a VERY strong side. To be fair, they're only losing down to poor finishing, they've had good chances. The Argies look a special side.

Toure's bother though is passing the ball around superbly, has good feet and skill and his ability to pick a pass is very good. Huge potential. I like his movement...

What I like about Ivory Coast that they have some speed and strength in their squad. Zokora looked lively and Ivory Coast are unfortunate to be behind because they wasted so many chances. Oh and Drogba is at it again, diving!!!

Agreed about what you are saying about Yaya Toure, he has very nice passes.

A proper footballer, looks very impressive to me, doesn't give the ball away, looks an outstanding prospect. VERY Patrick Vieira like in the way he plays. Be intersting to see how good he is in the other games.

Looks a cracking player to me.

Kolo was always praising him saying that he is a better player than him. Arsenal tried to buy him but the club where he is playing at (i don't know the name) rejected a bid from them.

Notice his speed, he isn't slow like other defensive midfielders.

Watch his first touch and how quickly he spots the right pass.

Well impressed. He's been much more quiet this half but he's got tremendous ability. Really think he'd make an excellent player for any team in the premiership. Be interesting to see how old he is and who he plays for.

Definate potential the lad has. The Ivory coast don't seem a bad side in all in. Infact they seem a damn good side. Drogba looks lively, Kolo Toure's a class act, Eboues a decent player aswell.
