Cheesey Ireland is like a good football game its all about to halves.

Greenred is in the first halve, but I'm in the second halve, otherwise Known as The occupied six counties, the British Statelet, Ulster & Northern Ireland. It all depend on which foot you kick with.  However the one thing that seems to united us is our admiration for anyone who beats England, I would at this point interject with a historical and Geographical observation.  We have staunch allies in the welsh and the scots.  Therefore in summary The celtic nations of the British isles want to see the English fail miserably.  The reason is not because we dislike the English far from it. Us Irish would have only thick Americans to a sell cheap imititation Traditional antiques to,like wise the Scots myth of the loch ness monster would be pointless, and the fall in sales of Dylan Thomas's chairs in wales would a catasorphy.  No the truth is we are sick to are back teeth hearing about 1966 38 years later.  If england won we be in 2042 and still saying a stupid catchphrase like, and they're beating the portuguese police they think its all over, wallop it is now! :D :D :D

Ah Big Al, it's all down to the fact that there's 60m people in the UK and 50m of them are English so of course we're gonna hear more of them than us Celts. I'll support any of the home nations against foreign opposition and I just can't understand a Scot/Welsh/N Ireland man doing any different but I supose that's just me living in dreamland cos I've been brought up half Welsh, half Scottish but predominantly British, instead of being brought up as an English-hater like the small-minded inbreds from out on the farms

Ok!..:)

I like Ireland too, because of two reasons:

1- (Yea,they aren't successfull in national championships)-but have a lot of good players like Roy Keane, Given, Duff, Robbie K., Harte......And the ambition in the team is a super property...

2- The Irish Man in 'Braveheart' !.. He was really crazy:D

be honest, can any of us watch a game and not even slightly prefer one of the teams to win, i always manage to find an argument to hate one of the teams

The thing is the Celts will always have a beef with the English in everything not just football but they are our neighbours so I support them.

Although they are the neighbours with half a fridge bits of motorbikes and a mangy dog in the front garden. :D  :D
