Robert Kovac deserved his red card that dirty kun.t , came leaping with his hand out towards joe cole.

I thought joe cole was play acting , he stood up walked a few steps and fell down , after that from the replay you could see he was not , ashley called for the physio's to come on . He looks like he suffered a concussion .

"It's the Hadron Collider - we actually have entered a parallel universe where England are good at football. Its the only possible explanation."

lifted from bbc website, :D class

incase anyones interested, source telegraph;

It is understood that Setanta has secured deals to air an unencrypted highlights show tonight across Freeview's digital terrestrial TV service, Virgin Media's cable network and BSkyB's digital satellite offering, that will run from 10.45pm to 12.30pm.

Setanta will air highlights of Scotland's World Cup qualifier first, followed by England's match.

The Irish company has made this last-minute move after facing mounting criticism for failing to reach a deal for free-to-air terrestrial highlights.

Not bein funny but where did that come from ?
Crazy scoreline and in the second half England passed it around with such confidence.
Walcotts finishing was superb and Rooney in the second half just controlled the game. Lets hope he is knackered for Saturday.
Bad challenge by Kovac on Cole you could see by the running jump and the way that he looked first that he wanted to do him.

By the way John Craig thought Heskey was immense tonight. He leads the line better than any other England striker and allows the attacking players to play off him.
I would have him as a starter most games personally.

Time for everyone to get carried away

Why do people always forget that the opposition has had a man sent off, wouldn't have been so great if the teams were equal

Good performance and good result nonetheless
