Arsenal v villareal - Cl semi-final

I think that Villareal would have a good chance of getting at least a draw tonight - but isn't their first-choice goalkeeper and one of their defenders injured?

Surely Henry will exploit that.

If Riquelme and Forlan sparkle, Villareal will sparkle.

Should be a good game.

I read that both first choice centre backs and their first choice goalkeeper are not playing.  Villarreal can do this, but it should be a hell of a game regardless.  I'll be in the boozer like last night.

Barbosa is their backup keeper, he's the one who will be playing against Arsenal in place for Viera. Which is a shame, since Viera would have probably been sure to be on top of his game for both of these matches. He was supposed to sign for Arsenal last summer, but they backed out of the deal in the end because they had "medical concerns" over him (which were bogus). Villarreal then signed him.

Josico, a classy player? I don't think so. Losing Gonzalo Rodriguez is a huge blow for Villarreal. He has been immense for them this season. It would be like if LFC played without Carragher at the back, that's how important he is. In my opinion, Pena is shi.te (Other centre-back who is injured). So, that might be a blessing in disguise. This is going to be a very tough game for them considering the injuries and suspension. Hopefully, they can score tonight. I wouldn't expect more than a draw, but you never know. Jose Mari is an expert at creating fouls near the box, so I would imagine at the very least Roman will have a couple opportunities tonight.
