No I'm not having a laugh. I could have picked Czech who is probably the best keeper in the Prem at present but not picking him affords me the luxury of having Robden as the token Chelsea player and a strong midfiield ....... with Robben, Downing, Vierra and Gerrard lets face facts the opposition aren't going to be able to get the ball to shoot at Calamity James are they

We have a strong midfiled at LFC but can't score goals mate
You need someone to stick it in the onion bag and bartlett doesn't do that enough

Everyone has players they admire but others can't see it . I like Carlton Cole currently on loan at Villa from Chelsea. Similar kind of player to Bartlett. Nunez has yet to settle and Keweel although improved recently is still to rediscover his expected standard. My comments regarding Midfiled were more to do with Alonso and Gerrard, arguably one iof the top midfield pairings in the prem.
With an aditionof a proven goalscorer ( Anelka perhaps ? ) we would convert a lot more of the chances we are creating at present
