Thought I'd better start a new 'other scores' thread, seems a bit odd using the 2017/18 one for this season's results.

A new season and the same old story, Leicester having the majority of the ball, De Gea making a couple of cracking saves and United winning 2-0

Leicester got one back late on which was the least they deserved, although they didn't create that much they were the better side imo.

Spurs rode their luck a bit against Newcastle, their first goal didn't look over the line to me (or the players on the pitch, no one claimed for a goal) apparently the ball was over the line by just 9 millimetres.
Newcastle hit the woodwork twice as well.

Our rivals won their games this weekend (exluding the Arsenal vs City game). Need to make a statement and hammer the Hammers tomorrow.

I thought City weren't as impressive as the plethora of gushing pundit cliches made out ,Mendy looks like a weak link and Arsenal for the most part had plenty of opportunities that presented themselves throughout the course of the game. Arsenal will take a fair few games before Emery stamps his style on that team but it was only a glut of bad finishing that afforded City maximum points. I thought Guendouzi despite the criticism he received 'from some quarters' looks an absolute beast of a midfielder for the tender age of 19 and will only get better and more accomplished with time, although if I was the manager I would drop Aubameyang like a stone the guy makes Benteke look lively.

I do agree about city, yes they are a good side but they won't do 100 points this season, we have shown we can beat them we just need to cut out losing points to relegation teams

City had something like 23 players away at the WC, I will be very surprised if they manage to repeat what they did last year.  They might start well but I can see them running out of steam after Christmas.
Changing the subject I see Leeds won again tonight, that's 3 wins out of 3 for Bielsa.

De Bruyne out for 2-4 months. They might not have the biggest squad but they definitely have at least 3 or 4 top quality players on the bench to call on for these situations (Gundogan, B.Silva, Mahrez, Jesus would probably start for most other top6 clubs).

That said, De Bruyne is a big loss. Too bad most of the games he'll miss are against easier opposition.

Give it three months and they'll sack the manager

2-2 HT

This reminds me of our games vs Arsenal when we went 2-0 up abd found ourselves 3-2 down.

If there was 5 more mins i think Arsenal would have got a third.
