Nobody actually counts the community shield as a trophy... It's like the emirates cup that arsenal were desperately trying to win this offseason.

It's not exactly a proper trophy but I wouldnt regard it as lowly as a self designed friendly tournament.
Usually the league winners against the FA cup winners is a decent curtain raiser for the season.
Obviously with it being Wigan who are now a championship side this season it wasnt quite the same kind of test or intensity but I would still say its a trophy.

Has apparently really annoyed Everton by bidding £28m for Fellaini AND Baines. 16 is for Fellani, meaning 12 is for Baines.
Everton already rejected £12m for Baines, meaning they've bid the same again, whilst Fellani's buy-out clause of £23m has expired.
What's he playing at?
