Sterling's Agent, along with Liverpool FC, have likely already agreed his departure with another club, and in the meantime are able
to set the stage and convince the fans that his departure is for the best with this type of manufactured scene.
This kind of club propaganda is especially important at Liverpool where fans cannot accept we sell our best players, so its vital they
soften the fans hard-core approach to anyone in a red shirt and ultimately the player takes the heat, not FSG.
Our owners are very smart and politically minded, make no mistake.
Spot on mate. Thank God there are some people that can see through the BS.
Last season it was very easy to sell Suarez on the continual rubbish that was written in the English media and the way that the lemmings had been conditioned to paint him in the same light as a serial killer.
Many of these lemmings, calling themselves "Liverpool fans" were delighted that we had sold the 3rd best player on the planet for peanuts!
Now it's Sterling's turn. He is a money grubber, he beats women, he doesn't truly play for the club, he smokes the Shisha........ :no
Manufactured outrage, with a quiet obvious agenda.
Can't wait to see what is install for us when Sturridge and Coutinho are eventually sold.
But hey, this club is heading in the right direction.
Surely he didn't have to go to these lengths to convince the fans to dislike him? HE'S ALREADY DONE ENOUGH WITHOUT ADDING TO IT !!
Suarez sold for a pittance? Close to a record sale price! £75m and not one other club showed the remotest bit of interest. Hardly a pittance and just how would you have stopped a player with Suarez's ambition going to RM or Barca? Tell me because I would like to know. The statement is about as daft as Parchea's conspiracy theory !!
What do you mean he has done enough for us to dislike him? For smoking a shisha? For being a cheeky little git and wanting more money? Please. It's like he suddenly became a pe.do over night and joined Suarez on the world's most wanted list. We are all forgetting he is an uneducated 20yo with the wrong advisors and somehow we are expecting him to act in a certain way
Sterling ain't no saint but the way the media have carried on over the last few days makes you wonder where all this is coming from.
For years we knew that Whiskey Nose manipulated the media and football authorities for his own obvious reasons. None more poignant when this whole "racism" farce boiled over with Suarez. Maureen has tried to do the same thing but has had limited success. City's own influence will be expanding with the money being poured into that club. There are many powerful forces with their own agendas all driving changes behind the scenes yet you want to simply sit there and say this is all to do with Sterling
OK then, lets label it a consipiracy then. You know cause money might have nothing to do with any of this........
Whether it was 65m or 75m pounds the amount was NOTHING compared to what Suarez was worth on the world stage. 3rd best player on the planet in his prime smashing all sorts of scoring records. He should have gone for much, much more. But you all listened to the media and believed their bollox on why he was only worth that. Because he was a vampire, because he was part of the KKK, because he wasn't this or that....... What absoulate rubbish. To add insult to injury we badly needed to replace him with another player close to his calibre and we let Sanchez go to our direct rivals even though he played for the club we were doing business with
Oh but wouldn't you know it he wanted to live in London and "there was nothing we could do about it"
You couldn't make this sh**t up!
As for your last point on Suarez's ambition. Suarez wanting to join a club that wins and is continually challenging for trophies is EVERYTHING that is wrong with our football club today. It seems that we don't want to spend any money, effort or time working on these massive egos because its all too tough, it's much easier to sell them. With that mentality we are literally acting like small minded club. When we finally figure out that we need to do everything to keep our best players to actually win trophies, that will be the day that we rise as a force again. That will be the day that I stop moaning about the same constant irratating s**t that keeps this club regressing. Reg can stop his ramblings, you can stop telling me off for being a constant downer and we can all get along. Wouldn't this forum be a great place Dev?
