Raheem Sterling is close to agreeing a new 5 year contract at LFC worth £20,000 a week.

thats great business on our behalf but not so sure its wise for the club to disclose the terms of the deal.
if he kicks on from here then he will get another deal with a rise but atm 20k is more than enough for a 17yr old.

Id like to see this boy rip United a new Arseh*ole tommorow, and I think Rodgers is Nieve enough to play him in such a big game, but I think as intense as these games are, it will be all too much for the lad.

That’s exactly the level he should be playing at right now. Too good for the U19s but not ready for the full squad.

perhaps he's happy with his £20 grand a week? maybe he actually wants to play for the shirt and the money is a nice bonus. a few more on our team should take a leaf from his book if thats the case...  hey Joe Cole?

I think the lad has been frustrated in all the games he has played. Struggling to beat defenders, and no end product.

Too much, too soon. :help

OK thats it, your a WUM

This lad is the one bit of light in this dank season, hes been our best player by far. A massive improvment on Downing, someone with real pace.

I think he's flashy with no end product. Tons of potential but if we continue to play him as much as we do it could end up counterproductive.

He has struggled in many occasions and he still has a lot to learn. To be honest I think Suso is a much better player atm (and deserves his place down the right flank) and I'd be more inclined to drop Sterling to the bench and give the likes of Downing, Assaidi, and even Cole a chance in the left wing role.

he hasn't been that much better than downing. They are similar in that both have NO END PRODUCT.
