A few choice comments about Raheem on BlueMoon forum...

"He just looks consistently average to me, so lightweight as well. "

"Ironically a mid table team like Stoke is probably his level"

What would be sweet if he wins nothing this season and we pick a trophy or two.

Wonder how long Sterling will get with City next season? Quite a few City fans are vocal over his lack of technique or end product and I'll be interested to see how Guardiola does with him, given his lack of technical development these past two years.

I was never a massive fan of this kid either on or off the field when he was at Liverpool. In my opinion he actually had half a season with us when he played some decent football. The way that Sturridge and Suarez where playing at that time I think they would've made me look good!  He has serious limitations. His decision-making is weak and that is partly due to the fact that he is not the brightest of individuals. His finishing is seriously poor as evidenced in the recent Capital One cup final.

Kudos to his agent for recognising a money making opportunity. What ever you think of his agent he certainly managed to get an  unbelievable deal out of Manchester City for Sterling.  Kudos also to Liverpool football club for allowing the sale to go through and making a fantastic profit on this somewhat unpleasant little individual  and that's me being polite!

Unless Sterling  improves massively next season he will be offloaded. However it is very likely that this kind of player will simply run down his £200,000 a week contract  and his agent will probably convince him that this is the right course of action given that his agent will be on a decent percentage of his earnings!  It is very unlikely that another  City type deal will exist for this player in rhe future. Real Madrid are probably realising that they have had a luck escape that's if there was ever any truth in the transfer rumours !!

The only regret in letting him go is how badly we reinvested the money we sold him for. I don't believe we'll look at him in the future and think 'I wish he stayed at Liverpool'. I'm confident he won't kick on, he's got great potential but he's not at a club where he'll be allowed to embrace it and develop. City haven't got time to wait for him and I don't think they will

Flanno snapping him was priceless and the fact Hendo just laughed told me everything I need to know about Raheem. ***** to him

Liverpool sold Sterling for £49m - £8m went to QPR - £6m is also dependant on appearances and trophies. We stand to get a maximum of £41m. Nearly £30m of that momey was spent on Firmino which is looking like a reasonable deal. The fact that some of it went on Christian isn't look quite so good - YET

Poor old Raheem. He's been well and truly found out this season and the City fans have turned on him big style. However, they all seem to hate the way he runs. My favourite one is

"He looks like he's never got used to having arms."
