Wasn't he shown nutmegging a couple of his team mates in training the other day? The media is trying their best to make him out to be a football savant...

Man City got stuffed 4-2 by Stuttgart in their last pre-season friendly, which is impressive when you consider that Stuttgart only just missed relegation from the Bundesliga.

Two hours after the match Sterling was pictured on the town getting on the beers

He got in down the line past Ivanovic a few times. Probably the worst I've seen Ivanovic play (not just on Sterling, but throughout the game). Sterling still looks as 1 dimensional as he did for us- just run fast down the line and put a poor cross in.

wasn't he subbed at half time against Newcastle?

He's struggling by all accounts. Seems like the City fans are also getting on his back....

We go on about our owners and transfers and things but someone really shafted City on this deal. Same with Torres to the chavs. Someone deserves a few pints anyway.

On BlueMoon they are now saying he needs to be dropped because he's a "player for the future".

£50 million for a future prospect

"Player for the Future"

In the future when his pace has gone you'll have nothing but an average player. Expect his career to spiral down to a club in the lower reaches of the prem at best when City get rid of him.

He'd have thrived under Klopp but it's his loss. I doubt he cares sitting on his 200k a week whilst the fans slowly turn on him.

Sadly I think you're correct.

Quite a few City fans have commented on his lack of technical ability and questioned what he'll done once his pace fades  :D

He did similar performances for us. Next week he'll be back to doing sweet FA.
