I agree with above.. I really want our next signing to be a top one. We have done reasonable so far this transfer window. Firminho addition has been awesome but need another if we want to aim higher.
It does worry me aswel as many how big stars tend to leave us. I really hope we can put an end to that. I guess maybe only when we are regularly in the champs league and challenging for the title.

Another slap in the face, and another example of us becoming a stepping stone for players before moving on. I'd like to think that we're not a selling club, but we have been for the last 10 years and it's the reason we've had very little success for a club of our calibre.

We need to invest this money wisely.. and that means even Lacazette or Reus as the marquee signing. If Rodgers splashes this cash on Benteke it will prove the fans know more about football than the man himself.

We can't afford to drop further behind manure after there recent signings.

What if we buy Benteke and he carries on his goal scoring form and bags us a load next season? Will you come on and say Brendan knows more than the fans? No, I think not. It's got to work both ways but I'm sure it wont.

cheer up fella, £49m in the purse...   a petulant kid off the books...   we move on.

Sterling has said that "the more quality players around you, the more quality it brings out in you".  Obviously, in his head he felt he was too good for Liverpool.  Regardless of the quality he'll have around him at Man City he'll still have to learn how to cross a ball and pick out a pass, something he failed to do repeatedly last season.

If we bring in Benteke and add a dominant centre half with the money left over, I reckon the Sterling cash will have been well spent.

 World class team my @ss. Can't even spell his name correctly.

I think he was a bad influence and not good for the team, I would have been happy with 30 million so a good deal for the club with no down side. It can be a great deal if we can buy the correct players but that is up to the management to weave some magic. My gut tells me that selling "Reheem" will be a turning point for the better.

I'm not that bothered at all he went, worth 20m tops at this stage, as someone said we raped city on that deal.
Hopefully it's just like when torres went to Chelsea,  flopped big time and the fans wanted the 50m back.

Ha ha ha.

Moved to Premier League discussion.

This little rat has nothing to do with this great club anymore.

Hopefully you are starting the way you mean to go on, you mercenary little scrote.
He doesn't deserve the red shirt and I think I speak for the majority of us when I say, "You can kiss the back of my balls, Reheem!"
