I predict they'll finish 3rd next season and lose in the final of the chimps.league. Torres will get shipped out too and Boas will have his a$$ fired.

Totally agree, it would mean he would be paying to work at Chelsea, abromovich is paying this and if its not being done properly it breaks the new UK anti bribery laws.

Villas-Boas quits Porto
Portuguese reported to be in London for talks

By Pete O'Rourke - Follow me: @skysportspeteo.   Last Updated: June 21, 2011 12:27pm

Porto have confirmed Andre Villas-Boas has tendered his resignation to clear the way for his move to Chelsea.

Chelsea have targeted the Portuguese to replace Carlo Ancelotti at the helm at Stamford Bridge.

The Portuguese champions have already confirmed that their coach has a €15million (£13.2m) release clause.

Porto insist no club has yet met the release clause for Villas-Boas, but it appears the 33-year-old is poised for a switch to Chelsea.

Villas-Boas has now offered his resignation in a bid to speed the move up to England.

A club statement to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission read: "FC Porto was today notified of the intention of Andre Villas-Boas to resign from his contract with the club by triggering the release clause immediately.

"The contract will be terminated once the required amount is paid."

Reports in Portugal claim Villas-Boas, who guided Porto to three trophies last season, including the domestic double and the Europa League, is already in London discussing his move to Chelsea.

Chelsea confirmed on Monday that they were close to naming their new manager and it seems Villas-Boas will soon be installed as the club's new boss.

It has also been suggested Villas-Boas could be joined by Porto duo Radamel Falcao and Joao Moutinho at Stamford Bridge with Roman Abramovich ready to fund a move for the pair.

it doesnt concern me at all with Chelsea. If it was Man U getting him I'd be worried but he isn't going to last at Chelsea. They've had loads of great managers, I don't see this one as any different

I think I figured it out.  Villas Boas pays the 15 euros for his release clause, signs a 5 years 10 million euro a year deal at chelsea, but knows he will only work 2 season before being fired.  Paid 50 million euros for 2 season, 35 million profit :D

I wouldn't mind make 17.5 million euros a season.

Roman will be paying the money straight back to him. Its an absolute nothing gesture from Villas Boas
