Chelsea are such a vile club. Sacking a good man like Ancelotti an hour or so after the season ended. He won them the Double last year and is a Champions League winner. That club never ceases to amaze me.

Not really surprising. With a sugar daddy owner like Abramovich, anything less than success will always be met with the same fate. Wonder who they will bring in. Someone told me Hiddink is back in the frame, maybe that Villa Boas?
One person deffo not going to Chelsea though is Kaka.

why doesn't abramovich just give himself the job?
utter joke of a football club.

Abramovich is the issue, an absolutle catch 22 imo. He's their problem and their solution
no wonder why Fernando's struggled then is it, the manager didn't want him. It's all Roman calling the shots. They won't get anywhere for a susained period until he keeps his nose out and lets the manager do his job
doesnt matter who they get when second isnt good enough.
Rafa - please dont let these tarnish you

You win the double in your first season, then you get sacked
.. but what do you expect from glory hunting plastic club like Chelsea.
Anyways Van Basten will become coach and Hiddink will be Director of Football... and you can quote me on that

Return of Mourinho possibly? Doubt it but it's possible. Ancelotti is a good manager, there's not doubt about that. The problem was definitely Abramovich taking too much control. You could see it in Ancelotti's face after Torres was bought.. He never wanted him. You could see the lack of confidence in the boss after the transfer and I have wondered since then what happened between Ancelotti and Abram.
Feel bad for Ancelotti, but at the same time I'm glad one of our competitors just gave up a great manager.
I've had a feeling since Rafa lost his Inter job that he was gonna wait out for the chelsea job. I guess we'll soon find out.
Roy Hodgson, anyone?

i won't be surprised if its Rafa. considering how they want european success so bad, and he is pretty good when it comes to knock out competitions. good match i say. but Basten would be a more likely option seeing the Dutch connection they have.

mine as well. His first words to me:
'we are a joke'
Took him a while but he got there in the end
