Ronaldo's views...

RONALDO PRIDE OVER `HISTORIC` BID
Posted 12/06/09 07:16

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his pride at being the subject of an "historic" £80million bid from Real Madrid.

The Manchester United and Portugal winger is set to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical with the Bernabeu giants after the English side accepted the offer on Thursday.

"I have had my time at Man United. It's time to look forward and £80million is quite a sum of money. This deal is historic," said Ronaldo, who is currently on holiday in Los Angeles.

"It's flattering when two of the top teams in the world want you to play for them.

"Now I can look forward to Real Madrid and a new stage in my career. I learned of the deal here in LA and heard from my people that United had accepted."

Meanwhile, Ronaldo could make Real debut in Dublin next month.

Madrid will report for training on July 10 before travelling to the Irish capital three days later where they will stay until July 22.

A friendly has been scheduled although the details are not confirmed with the club's opponents yet to be determined.

Just goes to show the gulf in class between their two signings this week.  Whether you believe Kaka's motivations were purely altruistic or not, he at least came out and paid tribute to Milan and tried to convince their supporters that his move will generate some important money for the club.  Ronaldo, on the other hand, is too busy w.anking over his 'historic' transfer to spare a word for the Manc supporters (not that I'm sympathetic, mind).  What a totally self-absorbed, classless piece of sh!te.

SSN Breaking news,
Real Madrid have pulled out of the £80 million pound deal for Ronaldo. They have just realised that you can actually buy a big girls blouse from Primark for just £4.

Let's be thankful Real Madrid already signed Kaka and look set to sign David Villa

But Silva and Benzema will probably join them

Let's hope Glazers keep the money

Good riddance
Depending on how the Manucs spend the money, this should make the next season really interesting
No matter how the Manures splash that 80 million pounds, even if fergie is allowed to spend all of it,
it's going to really difficult for the manures to replace the fec*king diver
Good tidings anyways~ Cheers~

we'll survive, we always do, after cantona left we won the treble, we did fine when staam left, we survived when beckham left, Van Nistelrooy etc, and although ronaldo is the best player in the world United is too big of a club to let him keep us down, after all we still got Sir Alex.
