These two are starting to make Chav$ki's spending from a couple of years ago look restrained.

Spurs have paid £14 million for Palacios from Wigan! ??? He's had about half a dozen decent performances this season and we're supposed to believe he's now worth the same as Alonso?

As for Citeh paying £14 million for Bellend Bellamy, they are just trying to piss money away on any player a club is prepared t listen to offers for.

The transfer system as we know it is dying a slow death I believe and after the pantomime of the Kaka affair I think it's time the powers that be reigned in these out of control clubs and their billionaire owners before they kill football altogether.

I always liked him and he's a decent record wherever he's been. City are going to buy whoever. I mean how much did they pay for Bridge? How sh*te is he! They wanted to pay Blackburn over £20 million for Santa Cruz and they bought him for £3.5m! I think it will only be City who are going to pay that sort of wedge, cos they cannot attract on the prestige or glamour front. If things continue on the downturn clubs may have to rely on a development programme, I mean can you imagine that!!!
