got to feel sorry for West Ham,I still have no idea what has gone wrong for them this year. Today they played so well but still blew it.

I am they should be in the top 10 but seem to have a self destruct button.

They woulda been fine if they had kept faith with Pardew.  He would have sorted them out by Christmas, I reckon, and they'd probably be where the likes of Sheffield United and Wigan are now.

Everytime things look positive for West Ham, they end up with the worst possible results (the matches after the win against the Mancs, getting a penalty against Watford, taking a 3-2 lead against Tottenham).  Every time those fans' hopes are raised, they get completely crushed.  You got to feel for them...

Just as title-winning sides tend to find ways to grind out results they have no business getting (see the Mancs yesterday  ), relegated sides find ways to drop points when they shouldn't.  I feel sorry for West Ham to a point but, seriously, how many times have they shot themselves in the foot this season?  They have a talented squad and a good fan base but they are the architects of their own demise.  If you consistently squander opportunities to win games that are in your grasp then you deserve to go down, I'm afraid.

Great game. Silly to book Tevez for celebrating.

I kinda feel sorry for West Ham's fans. They are badly let down by their team.

It's a shame they will be relegated this season.

you'd have to say the writing's on the wall when you throw away a 2-0 and 3-2 lead at home.

tevez has apparently been the only one who's shown any fight for them.  there must be summat in the water in south america though, cos he looked like he's carrying a bit too much timber on motd last night.

according to the radio this morning, the problems at west ham include a bit of a gambling culture, with players owing each other tens of thousands of pounds, and also a split in the dressing room between the white and black players!  if that's true, then it's no wonder they're where they are.

i thought they were out of order the way they treated pardew, so it'd be ironic if he kept charlton up.  the way city are carrying on, he may just pull it off.
