As Sol Campbell has decided to leave Arsenal in search of a fresh challenge,  would anyone like to see him at Liverpool FC? I know he's 31 yrs, but he has a lot of experince and may be good for the club.

No just no

nuff said.

If he wants a fresh challenge then why would he come to Liverpool and have the same challenge. He is too slow, makes too many mistakes. Goes AWOL. A liability if you ask me. I'd have said yes if he was still playing like he was at Spurs.

MAYBE HE WANTS TO PLAY ABROAD, I THINK HE WOULD HAVE FOUND IT HARD TO GET INTO THE ARSENAL TEAM WEEK IN WEEK OUT... LIVERPOOL NO, NOW HAD YOU SAID LEDLEY KING  :D

No. We have 2 better centre halves imo and another 2 young promising centre halves as cover.

Campbell of 2 years ago - absolutely.  But he's lost the recovery pace which he used to have in abundance and to be honest the guy seems to have serious issues (which is probably why Arsenal are letting him go, along with the fact he costs a fortune in wages and probably won't be first pick for them with everyone fit).  Seems to be very injury prone too these days, but still capable of playing at a high level for someone.  My guess is he'll play abroad.

No I would prefer Rafa to give Agger a real chance to establish himself next season.

Carragher, Hyypia, Agger and Paletta.

IF he can get rid of these niggling injuries, most notably to his achilles and ankle, IF he can get back to the sort of weight he was pre Euro 2004, IF he can sort himself out mentally, someone will have an absolute bargain on the hands, but they are massive IFS.

SAINT,  FUNNY YOU SAY THAT I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT AGGER YESTERDAY...NEVER SEEN HIM MUCH LAST SEASON, TBH  SAMMY HAD A GREAT SEASON SO IT WAS NEVER GOING TO BE EASY FOR HIM TO GET INTO THE TEAM...HE WILL HAVE A FIGHT TO BREAK INTO THE TEAM WITH PALETTA JOINING NOW...TIME WILL TELL...   :;):

Luke's spot on.  He's a good gamble for another team but we're sorted at centre back.
