I can't believe that Fergie thought Keane shouldn't have been sent off against Porto! He quite clearly tried to stamp on him, although Vitor Baia may have made a bit of a meal of it. Then he had the audacity to have a go at Porto's gaffer after the game, what a tw#t!

but come on it was nothing really i mean i agree what he done may have been intentional but it could so easily of been a slip of his foot, because he was moving quite fast as it happened?

The keeper undoubtedly made a meal of it but that doesn't detract from the fact that Keano knew exactly what he was doing and deserved to get red carded. For Fergie to say that it's unlike him after Alfie Haaland and numerous others is laughable....!!!

keane had to go (dirty b#st#rd) and it makes me laugh when fergie blasts porto for persistent diving. i mean ronaldo was on for 20 mins and everytime he got breathed on he went down like a sack of sh#t.

Message from Sir Fergie :
Im borrowing cheesecakerys id as im not registered yet :

Will you lot shuddup , Roy didnt stamp on anyone , it was a figment,  he just snagged his stud on the keepers wooly sweater , serves him right for not wearing a lycra top,
the keeper dived under his foot ,  ummmmm and so did the rest of the team ,
ps is it snowing by you?

I hate keane, but that was no sending off.He wasnt trying to injure Baia as it was just a tap.He was letting the goalie know he COULD have stamped him. There were a dozen more violent incidents in the same match.Saying that,I laughed my head off when he got the red card.

The quote from fergie was stupid.

But in fairness I didn't think it was that bad, I don't even think it was worth a yellow card.

it was nowt compared to what he's done in the past. the guy should have a criminal conviction for GBH for what he did to alf-inge haaland for god's sake.

That was terrible, but considering the incident in hand,I think Roy Keane has been treated unfaily.

The ref had no choice, lets face it...if that happened at the Kop end to Dudek or Kirkland we'd be well upset!! Love to see Fergie's face if it happened to Howard tho, and the ref said "Well Ally, it weren't that bad was it old son!!!"
