Jon ostemebor has just signed a loan deal with Bolton till the end of the season.
Sam Allardyce said,"He made his debut against Bolton in the Carling Cup and I thought he was the most influential player on the night".

He will probably consign Henchoz to full-back again. Funny how the defence has looked much stronger since Biscan was dropped.......

Houllier should also loan out Welsh or play him.
Partridge as well...or are they loaned out?

I,M ALWAYS UP TO GIVING A PLAYER A FAIR CHANCE HE SEEMS TO HAVE THE RIGHT ATTITUDE SO WHY NOT DOESN'T LOOK HOULLIER IS GOING TO BRING IN SOMEONE
BUT IF HE DOES GET A CHANCE HE'LL NEED A FEW GAMES NOT JUST ONE NOW AND ANOTHER NEXT MONTH

Partridge has come up through the youth system so he has as much love for Liverpool as any other red. The right side is not a settled position with an obvious name filling that role so we should give any players a chance there. I still wish we hadn't sold Thompson

Owzat what's the latest on the middlesbrough saga. I heard that Houllier did want to buy when the transfer window was open but could'nt spend in case liverpool had to fork out, any truth in this?

When u slag igor off boys please remember 3 things :
1. it can take years to adapt to a new position and not everyone finds their best position initially ( e.g.henry)
2. he was the best player for the reserves last season
3. he has always been viewed as a replacement for sami, not a partner - he was rushed in with henchoz's loss of form/ injury
Cheers

1. Yeah, he's either taking a year or two to settle in or having "second season syndrome" - any excuse. If he were that good it wouldn't take him "time to settle"
2. Yeah, being best player for the reserves counts for sh1t when you move up to a higher level.
3. What a crock of sh1t. If he's good enough to play centre-back then it shouldn't matter too much which side and it sounds like another feeble defence of Biscan't

Ostemebor looked loke he had attacking flair and was a decent defender, we may benefit from him gaining experience at bolton, partridge is not the answer he is a winger and should be given a chance in that position, ahead of vladi!
