Players who will make great managers - Who do you guys think?

Okay I am looking in my crystal ball now and predicting players who I think will end up as great managers, I could never imagine Beckham as a manager he will end up either a pundit or on films.
But I can see Youri Djorkaeff, Paolo Di Canio & Stuart Pearce being great future managers, any predictions anyone..
I think Zinedine Zidane would be a great manager but he said when he retires he wants a life away from football.

Stuart Pearce already had a (brief) whack at management years ago with Forest.

Great players rarely make great managers.....look at Bryan Robson, for example.

The current top dogs in English football include many guys who never reached the heights during their playing days.

Some of the more promising up and coming managers in the nationwide league were middling to poor players, such as Nigel Worthington and Ian Dowie. I also remmeber Gary Megson: journeyman player in his day but doing ok as a manager.

Really you cant say until they begin managing a team. s##t......Smicer could have the potential to become the best manager to grace a football stadium, and Owen the worst. U just cant say.

The idea is to just predict it, I know you cant really say but its just a bit of fun.
And John Barnes Granny, Bryan Robson hasnt done too bad he has a couple of promotions and cup finals to his name, ok he is hardly one of the greats but he isnt a failure either.

Robson was a damn good player. He carried england on his own for at least five years.Unfortunately for him his playing career happened before manure got their act together. He was different class to that overrated fan kicker Cantona.

Robson's success as a player dwarfed that of his achievements as manager.

i really really hope the point of this thread was for someone (i.e. me) to say DANNY MURPHY

he has a super football brain (if perhaps not the legs to complement it!!)

that boy will do very well in management - possibly starting at crewe then returning to us

remember it was catenacio that said it lads

nice

Funny enough it was thinking of Murphy that gave me the idea to start this thread.
