He's had started the last three games, one of them both Raul and Ronaldo were benched. It seems that Luxemburgo has realized that Owen needs to be playing more [took him long enough].

I doubt that he will return to us or to the Premier League for that matter, he has already had a successful season thus far and it seems that he will play more now.

If Madrid were to sell him to us I don't think they would sell him for under eight million[which is what we got for him] and therefore wouldn't be making any profit.

A.B. for your information Owen is considered a flop in madrid. He has showed nothing. He has started 14 games and been subbed at half time or early in the second in 13 of them. Raul and Ronaldo are both injured or semi injured. That is why Owen plays. He and Portillo was strikers in their last away game when they were firmly beaten. Stop this sillty sh!t. Owen is mediocre. Nothing more nothing less.

What a knob :kungfu:  Banana Stu was right about you you are thick :glare:

Luxemburgo will end up getting the sack if he keeps dropping the 'Mighty' Raul.

The Spanish press have always liked Owen, more so than say David Beckham.

I have friends in Spain and Owen was always very highly thought of over there when he was at Liverpool (as was Robbie Fowler). When Owen scored the hat trick against Germany in late 2001 one of the Spanish papers described him as a "rocket full of goals". Yes, the Spanish use funny metaphers at times.  :D

Banana....average? Was he average that night in Germany? Was he average in Cardiff in late spring of 2001? Was he average in the dozens of games he ripped defences to shreds over the years?

Owen hasn't got a fair crack of the whip at Madrid and still has a very respectable return of goals in an inconsistant team.

if the spanish dont rate him why is he getting 10 out of ten whilst ronaldo keeps gettnig 0?
they all love owen there, coz he does the business. pity is that raul will jump straight into the team when hes better and go back to his great ration of one goal every 4 or 5 games, which is just oathetic
