unfair criticism, had a good gamne - some calss saves, but typical Dudek always has to make a calamitous error unfortunate;y.

still great result.

That mistake will cost us the tie. I would think.

I don't think its done his chances of staying our first choice any good either. One mistake to many now for me i'm affraid. It was poor reactions to a poor shot once again.

Can't see that. We're still definitely favourites to go through. One goal on the break from Baros, Kewell or Gerard and we should be through.

Mathematically it does make a massive difference though. If we had remained 3-0 up they would have needed three just to get to extra time in Germany. If we had an early goal they would have required FIVE just to stay in the tie. Still as LFC#1 says we would have all taken 3-1.

Dudek's head is gone. After the game he tried keeping his chin up, but he looked on the verge of tears to me. Its a pity because at times he looks a good keeper, but he seems to get rushes of blood to the head at times.

Kirkland is done for the season I believe. He wouldn't had let in the goal Dudek did but he would had conceeded from a corner or a set-piece. He's no better than Dudek as both of them p1ss their pants whenever there are set pieces.

Dudek can do the difficult things but he can't do the simple things like today. It seems that his self-confidence has run out.

For what it's worth Dudek is a much better goalkeeper than kirkland. Kirkland concedes soft goals from free kicks, poor at distributing the ball, bad reflexes, bad footwork and way too slow movement. Never understood why Kirky and Dudek were signed at all. Kirky relegated with Coventry conceding a huge number of goals, and a lot of them very soft. Dudek, a very good player at his best, but extremely inconsisten. Westerveld were better than both. but then again Houllier liked to burn cash, and why not splash £ 12 million on a couple of goalies?

We must look for a new keeper in the summer. Carson is not ready yet. maybe an old head for a couple of years and then he can step aside when Carson matures.

Banana to be fair Dudek was outstanding in his first season ever since then he has been inconsistant.
