not a bad shout that, considering the financial turmoil that dortmund are in. :oh:

We've been linked with him for years now, I think if it was ever gonna happen he'd already be here. Good shout though

Well, I was just spilling out names without thinking much of the possibility. I think in general, we need someone who is offensive. So, anyone in this nature should be a good match to us. Oh yeah, no Cheyrou please.  :D

i think the opposite. i think if gerrard left, we would ideally want a young defensive minded ball winner. i don't think alonso can do that job and hamann certainly isn't going to be around for much longer.

But we have Biscan who fit your description......  :p

Yup, I have to agree with you if you are talking beyond this year. Can't really think of anyone though.

why can't the fcuking uefa scrap the rule that prohits players from representing 2 clubs in the same season (in champions league)....

I mean, why the ****** is this rule there in the 1st place ?

I am sure if morientas is able to partner baros, a hamann & Biscan centre midfield does not look bad at all

My fave's would be Aimar, Baraja, Van de Vaart, Ballack, but the one player that I would love to see come to Liverpool, even though it will never happen, Luciano Zauri. The man can play in every midfield and defensive position and I haven't seen him play a bad game. But he is probably too rich for our blood, but wouldn't it be nice :p

Ballack would be an outstanding signing. Aimar too.

Agree we could use some more backup in the centre but with no money in the bank the gaffa could only bring someone in on loan or back from loan. I always hoped we might have taken a look at Malbranque but its unlikely we will see any big name till the summer. Le tellec may get the nod but neither Cheyrou or Diarra coming back fills me with excitement. I have seen diarra play a couple of times this season on Channel 5 or Eurosport. I figure the boss would have taken a pretty good look at him also - If he was any good i'm sure the lad would have been brought back a while ago.
