Wtf are you talking about? Does Abramovich have any knowledge about the football market? Probably not. Mourinho wants a player he tells the Russian c#nt and he gives him the green light to place a bid on him. He has the funds.

How much did Abramovich know when he bought chelsea?  Having deep pockets and a hands off approach ( which leaves Rafa buying the players and making the big decisions) isn't a bad approach.  The man loves sports and wants to see his teams do well, I'm sure running a football club here in the states is much different than in the EPL, but im sure it's no more different than running a american football team, and as you may know they are both extremely successful francises.  Whether or not he knows what he's doing is irrelevant because his approach has been working.  Again the other investors in the L4 group have been forgotten.  I'm sure their collective knowledge will lead to better times.

a sports tycoon is not necessarily the answer, we need players who not only have talent but passion - I would take a team full of 11 Carra's at the moment.

take Garcia for example, lots of skill and fancy tricks but no bottle, and at the moment is not cutting it in England.

You're clueless. Look at Abramovich. The man probably has no clue about the market, but he has the money and he's got a manager who knows the players. When Mourinho wants a player he talks to Abramovich and its a done deal asap.

if Liverpool goes down the same path does Chelsea down we have sold our soul and thats the day the club dies.

I would rather see us succeed thru hard work than some shady ****** bankrolling the team and then ****** off at the drop of a hat.

The point is here that we need some money. We need a bit more than we have in order to rebuild our squad. We have no depth, we've been stripped down to the bones by injuries. We need somebody who can fund us in order to rebuild our squad from top to bottom.
