I know it is still early, but were do you think we will finish, why do you think this, and how could we improve this for next season?

I think we have the squad to finish in the top 4, and if don't then the fault can only be put at Gerard Houllier's door.  I think we may finish 4th, if the squad can rediscover some confidence.

The squad is good enough to finish in the top four, but I have a nasty feeling it will be 5th again.

At that stage we should have been challenging for 1st spot, but who's fault is that?

4th would be great and nothing to be ashamed of, as inconsistant as we are i cant see anyone finishing above us except the big 3

What about Newcastle?

They are on a roll and will hammer a lot of the smaller teams, against whom Liverpool occasionally struggle.

If our squad played near to it's full potential from the start then it could have finished 3rd or even 2nd with some luck, but now we should be aiming for 4th spot, at that will be tough battle, if we don't finish in the top 4 than houulier must go.

Houiller is hoping another good cup run will save him again, never mind getting side tracked with the carling cup! he needs to concentrate on our league position!!.  ???

This is only a small bit depressing isn't. I can't actually believe fans of Liverpool F.C are saying 4th wouldn't be a bad place to finish and that if Liverpool don't finsih in the top 4 GH should be sacked. If Liverpool don't mount a credible title challenge running whoever it may be to the wire, at the very least, then GH should be sacked. Although personally I don't believe that Liverpool the way they are playing will get within 15 points of whoever wins the league
